At some point, well into the future, I will find the words to capture my feelings about 2020. Right now, while we are still deep in it, and with so much work to do... I just don't have it yet. 

But, I heard these words on the Throughline podcast yesterday and they resonated with me. 

"The future is yours to build," said by the activist, Yuri Kochiyama. 

On that note, I want to share a recap of the fundraising we did as a community in 2020. As a business, and with your support, we donated $4161.30 to the following causes:

BLACK RESILIENCE FUND: $357

OREGON FOOD BANK: $154.80

THE CHUUSH FUND, WATER FOR WARM SPRINGS: $154.50

FEEDING AMERICA: $125

MINNESOTA FREEDOM FUND: $20

Small donations to creative/business projects: $50 to Black Opera, $50 towards purchase of tools for a young entrepreneur.
