THIS WEEK IN INSPIRATION: NOVEMBER 1ST, 2016
•Posted on November 01 2016
Architecture is a limitless source of inspiration for me. The mix of the indoor and the out, the play of light and texture, the angles and lines, it all translates into something wearable as it enters my mind.
My husband and I both love mid-century architecture and design. We've been slowly hunting for a mid-century home to own, both in our dreams and in reality here in Portland. The selection is slim in this city, but on Pinterest there a limitless homes to daydream about.
Here are a few design moments that are inspiring me lately. For more, I strongly recommend the documentary "Visual Acoustics: The Modernism of Julius Shulman" - The architecture is amazing and it's a joy to see someone who loves their work so whole heartedly.
